Introduction

My UX Process
Research -> Analysis -> Design -> Prototype -> Test

Study portal is a platform to gather information regarding students’ intended area of study, preferred university, country of choice, or any other particulars concerning the enrollment process. Studyportal as a client is looking forward to rearranging the country page to reduce the bounce rate and increase the traffic. The design challenge includes adding functionality to the website and improving the overall user experience to generate more leads and reduce the bounce rate on the country page. Since Studyportals is a portal for students all around the world, the user research will be conducted with students.

Target Audience
Individuals between the age of 18 and 24 who are interested in pursuing undergraduate postgraduate, or distance learning programs abroad.

Research Questions
What are students looking for when researching about university opportunities and their specific country they will be living at?

How can the country page be designed to provide personalized and relevant information to users based on their individual needs and interests?

In what ways can the design be changed and optimized in order to showcase the strengths, characteristics and educational chances of each country?

Research Setup
I chose a survey and interview to combine qualitative and quantitative insights.

Research Insights

Recognizing the significance of attracting and retaining people' attention, I concluded that changes were required to make the website more appealing and fascinating. Recognizing that the current design was lacking in engagement, users might not find the information, layout, or visual components appealing. I used a variety of design features and tactics to increase user engagement and provide a more immersive experience. In conclusion, I accepted the realization that the page was not interesting enough. I hoped to develop a captivating user experience by adding visually appealing aspects and interactive features that would resonate with consumers and drive them to perform meaningful activities on the site.
